The Manager Business Intelligence will be responsible for overseeing as well as directly participating in projects and production support for the BW environment at company. Core responsibilities will include supervising BW team members as well as overseeing and participating in the design, implementation, testing, documentation and maintenance of reporting solutions on company SAP BW system. He/she will be able to communicate effectively with the user community to determine requirements and will use his/her strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions. He/she will excel in a team environment, demonstrating leadership and management skills while also performing “hands-on” project and production support work. He/She will be dedicated to expanding his/her knowledge base as well as to sharing that knowledge with others. The ability to proactively assess and manage work effort, priorities, and dependencies in a dynamic environment is imperative, as is the ability to coordinate efforts with other teams to achieve departmental and company goals.

Responsibilities

Providing leadership among the user community and on behalf of the SAP BW team to define business issues and solutions.
Managing BW projects / production support to ensure on-time, high quality deliverables.
Supervising and mentoring BW team members.
Overseeing and participating in day to day support of the BW environment
Overseeing and participating in day to day support of SAP R/3 interfaces/extractors.
Evaluating new functionality delivered by SAP.
Ensuring completeness and accuracy of project and production support documentation.
Translating business requirements into reporting requirements. Designing, configuring, testing and implementing technical solutions based on these requirements.
Reporting to senior management regarding project and production support status.

Qualifications & Requirements

At least 2 years of supervision experience
At least 5 years of SAP BW development/configuration experience
At least 1 year of SAP BW production support experience
At least 2 full projects as BW architect/designer/team leader
Strong knowledge of BEx Analyzer query and workbook design/configuration
Experience extracting, transforming, loading and modeling FI, MM and SD data
Functional knowledge of FI, MM and SD business processes and reporting
Strong analytical and systems design skills
Strong project planning and management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Additional skills preferred:

Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science or Engineering preferred but not required.
Entertainment industry Finance and/or Sales and Distribution background
